Is a magnificent Extra Virgin Olive Oil produced at our olive grove and mill located on our estate, Perales, in Merida (Badajoz) in Southwest Spain.

Merula is produced under some of the strictest production rules and regulation in the industry today. we harvest the olives when they reach the optimum moment of ripeness for the taste profile we are trying to achieve and under the watchful eye of our technical director and oleologue, Dr Cristino Lobillo, we are proud to produce one of the world’s finest extra virgin olive oil for everyday use.

As with our finishing oil, Marques de Valdueza, the Mercula coupage combines the four varieties of olives we grow on the estate, Arbequina, Hojiblanca, Picual and Morisca, but thanks to a somewhat later harvest and following the suggestions of expert chefs, we have created a versatile oil, perfect for numerous applications, both cold and hot. The blend makes Mercula and excellent condiment and ideal extra virgin olive oil for chefs of haute cuisine as well as the most demanding home cookery alike. In its unque tine with the prize-winning design, Mercula is a magnificent product that no kitchen shold be without.
