Felsineo has been producing mortadella in Bologna for fifty years. It started out with a salami factory called “Salumificio Raimondi” in the 40's and today Felsineo brings on the experience and tradition of three generation of producers.
Felsineo mortadella is produced with the most advanced production techniques but still maintaining the traditional antique recipe of the bolognese gastronomy.
Felsineo uses the finest cuts of pork meat and natural flavourings. Further more the mortadella does not contain any: polyphosphates, caseinates, glutamates, fat and/or rind emulsions, synthetic flavourings, sugar, or powdered milk. Felsineo mortadella is gluten free.
The result of this union between tradition and technological innovation brings Felsineo to a continuous research in the production of mortadella. A product that is healthy, genuine and easy-to-digest. A 'modern' mortadella following the guidelines of the recent nutritional trends, but still maintaining the original flavour and taste of the traditional mortadella.
The application of sophisticated working method and an outstanding respect for management methodologies, has allowed Felsineo to obtain the highest levels of quality certification on a European and world level: Vision 2000, BRC, IFS, ISO 22000 e ISO 14001.
